Floricultural crops such as cut flowers, potted flowering plants, foliage plants, vegetables, and bedding plants are commonly grown in greenhouses. Intensive plant production in such controlled environment structures not only requires advanced technology and higher capital and labor input, but also allows the greatest profit per unit area.
