Enrolment options
Objective:
To enable students understand the basic principles of flow in ground water, develop a mathematical model of ground water problems, determine the chemical transport and interaction (fate) of pollutants within the ground water system. Furthermore students should be able to develop a preliminary consulting report for a groundwater development or remediation project.
Outcome:
Students shall explain the principles and models of steady and unsteady flows in ground water, they shall solve real life problems through ground water flow models and be able to work with ground water modeling softwares, They shall be able to map geochemistry of pollutants and give interpretation of geochemical data.
