Drainage Engineering

The objective of the course is to aware students about the importance of drainage for Irrigated agriculture, to enable students to understand soil salinity, drainage for salinity control and land reclamation. At the end of the course students are able to know the different components of surface and sub-surface drainage systems, design surface and subsurface drainage systems for irrigated agriculture and water logged areas.
