Theory of error and Adjustment Computation

The course includes random error theory, propagation of random errors in indirect measured quantities, angle and distance, traverse survey, elevation determination, weight of observation, principles of least squares, development and application of least squares, horizontal and vertical control network designs, adjustment of indirect observations, and adjustment of observations and parameters combined. Student adjustment projects include level networks, traversing, triangulation, trilateration, and GPS networks.
