This course deals with scope of biotechnology; recombinant DNA technology; PCR techniques; gene sequencing; animal biotechnology: in vitro fertilization, animal cloning, transgenic animal development; plant biotechnology: tissue culture techniques, transgenic plant development, methods for gene transformation; environmental biotechnology and industrial biotechnology.
