To support the university's strategic key performance indicators (KPIs) of reaching 90% effective LMS adoption across faculty and students, this course provides step-by-step guidance on transforming traditional course delivery into engaging, well-structured digital learning environments.

Through focused video tutorials, hands-on activities, and downloadable templates, instructors will master course organization, student management, offline question bank formatting, and secure online examination setup using the AMU Online Learning Portal.

Key Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Organize Course Content: Build intuitive Moodle course structures, upload resources, embed media, and configure activity completion tracking.

  • Manage Students & Groups: Handle student enrollments, organize students into functional cohorts/groups, and set up interactive communication forums.

  • Batch-Import Question Banks: Format assessment questions offline using Aiken and GIFT text formats and seamlessly import them into Moodle categories.

  • Configure Online Exams & Quizzes: Design secure online assessments, configure timing, layout, and review restrictions, and pull randomized questions from question banks.
