Electrical characteristics, principles of operation, circuit models of diodes and bipolar transistors. principles of operations & applications of different types of electrical machines. Topics to be covered are models of diodes ,Characteristics of diode and it’s applications and various special diodes, characteristics and operation modes of BJTs ,biasing of BJT circuits ,BJT used as amplifier, Single Phase Transformers ,DC machines, three phase induction Motor and Synchronous machines.
