This course is designed to introduce students to two computers programs viz. 3Ds max and ArchiCAD. These programs are frequently used by Architects for visualization and working drawings. ArchiCAD is a pioneer Building Information Modeling (BIM) program designed by a Hungarian company Graphisoft. It uses architectural elements to build projects virtually and produces conventional drawings such as plans,elevations, sections and 3Ds. In this course, students will be able to understand basic idea about BIM and learn fundamental concepts of ArchiCAD. Also Students will acquire fundamental working skill which will help them to produce virtual building models in ArchiCAD. After completing this course students will able to work architectural design projects with ArchiCAD and can produce coordinated and automated 2D and 3D drawings effectively.
