Current Issues in ELT

This specific course tries to cover theoretical issues underlying the practice of learning and teaching languages in general and the English language in particular. Hence, it draws on philosophies from diverse disciplines such as education, linguistics, psychology, sociology, and humanities. Furthermore, the course attempts to associate the theories with practices of language curriculum development, syllabus design, materials development, and assessment.
