Ø Know the basics of Automobile Chassis Components.
Ø Construction and Working principle of Front Axle, Rear Axle, Wheels, Tires, Steering System, Brakes and Suspension System.
Types of chassis systems, Front axle and steering system such as front wheel geometry, steering geometry, steering linkages, steering gear boxes.
Braking system such as mechanical brake, hydraulic brake, air brake, ABS, power brake and power assisted brakes.
Wheels and tyres: Types of wheels- pneumatic tyres.
Suspension and road wheel: Types of suspension systems- Independent, rubber, shock absorber- Teacher: Maghalengam Kannappan
